We had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day this year! All the children came to school dressed up as characters from their favourite books. It was wonderful to see how much effort everyone put in!
Junior and Senior Infants and First and Second Class had a special trip to the library, where they enjoyed a magical fairy show. They also took part in some drama activities, acting out scenes from stories and bringing their favourite characters to life.
Later that day, Fifth and Sixth Class paired up with the Junior and Senior Infant Classes for some shared reading. It was lovely to see the older children helping the younger ones, reading stories together and sharing their love of books.
Overall, it was a great day filled with fun, creativity, and, of course, lots of reading!🌎📚😄
